Ricoh New Zealand has been focused on diversity and inclusion for a number of years because it understands a diverse workforce that includes people with access needs makes for a more creative and innovative organisation.

Ricoh actively recruits people with disabilities; and, since joining the Accessibility Tick programme, has updated policies and procedures to reflect its commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

The main areas of focus for the company this year are recruitment and web/digital accessibility. Improvements to recruitment practices have already been made with a view to encourage those with access needs to apply and to make sure the process is fully accessible. Ricoh has also started work on ensuring its websites and digital content are accessible for all.
