I experience problems with access barriers as I'm in an electric wheelchair.

For example, trying to access public toilets, and having to travel unsafely on the road because the footpath crossings are sometimes too high.

We should have laws to fix such basic access needs.

This is a story about the barriers many face. We're sharing it because we want a law that puts accessibility at the heart of an inclusive Aotearoa New Zealand.
