Lainey Feingold and baking accessibility into business

The Access Alliance recently co-hosted Lainey Feingold, an American disability rights lawyer who focuses on digital accessibility.

Lainey ran a workshop with representatives from businesses who have all committed to demonstrating their commitment to being accessible with the new Accessibility Tick programme from Access Advisors.

Six of these businesses have now been awarded the Accessibility Tick, with ACC New Zealand, Adecco New Zealand, Auckland DHB, Ricoh New Zealand Limited, Sudima Hotels, joining Vector Limited who was the first in the country to be awarded the tick.

Access Alliance coordinator Dianne Rogers congratulates the five businesses on being awarded the Accessibility Tick. She says: “We applaud your efforts to create accessible environments for your employees and customers, and we look forward to working together to put accessibility at the heart of a more inclusive Aotearoa New Zealand.”
